Welcome to DanzArts Studio! 

We train our students in the art of dance and theater! We are a noncompetition studio that focuses on the fundamentals of training dancers of all ages. We offer a preprofessional program beginning with a 3yr old Creative Movement class all the way to a large adult program.

• DanzArts does not hold ownership of students, families or staff

• DanzArts has a recital which is optional for all of our students. Our Spring Recital will be held at the beautiful Hoyt Sherman Theater

• For further performing opportunities, eligible students will beencouraged to audition for community based production such as "Nutcrackers" by both Ballet Des Moines and Iowa Dance Theater. Our more dedicated dancers may be invited to join our own junior company for further performing opportunities through out the year.

• The education of a dancer does not stop with our studio. Dance programs that are offered at the university level are vast and incredible. Preparation into a college or university program must start early. DanzArts hosts an annual college talk for our families with resources available to all who are interested in exploring this path. The future of our art lies with the next generation of dancers!

• We are extremely adult friendly. Why should one stop dancing once they reach 20 and beyond? Adults have become one of our fastest growing populations!

• We co sponsor Broadway Master classes and host Dance Series Master Classes in partnership with the Civic Center of Des Moines

• During the school year we run 2 semesters: Students enrolled in the fall semester are automatically reenrolled for their same classes in the spring. No need to reregister to save your spot in class(es)

• Our recital happens at the end of our spring semester and is optional for all of our students

• We can accept new students anytime during the year provided a class has openings

• We will prorate the semester tuition if joining a class in progress
